THE HALF-GRAFFITI ROOM
World famous Street Artist, Tilt, just completed his bold design of a room in the Au Vieux Panier hotel in Marseille, France. For his ”Panic Room”, he divided the room perfectly down the middle with one side covered entirely (literally not one open inch) with lively, energetic graffiti and painted the other half stark white. Party on the right, serious on the left.
The hotel is made up of five rooms annually re-designed and re-conceptualized by commissioned artists and designers (for those who can’t make it to France, NYC’s Carlton Arms hotel has a similar concept). See a sneak peek of all five concepts at Au Vieux Panier.
